This W magazine Novel Romance editorial is from October’15 and is indeed, oh so romantic. It’s a semi-oldie but a goodie! Lara Stone has that perfect Brigitte Bardot look going on…sexed hair, bow tie shirt, gorgeous Chloe coat with gold buttons while sitting at a french cafe. Everything seems to have a Victorian touch to it. Hope you like it as much as I do.

I have been obsessed with camel colored clothing for what seems like forever, especially coats. Unbeknownst to my cousin she made my dreams come true by gifting me with a beautiful camel colored coat for Christmas. As soon as I peeked into the box I immediately grinned from ear-to-ear. Not only is it the perfect shade of camel but the style is classic. I wore it Thursday night and got numerous compliments. Thank you Susu!!

Good morning! Just woke-up and I am starving….decided to head over to one of my favorite food you-tubers site to check out what I might want to make for breakfast this morning. If you didn’t know about Byron Talbott, well now you do and he is pretty amazing. I’ve decided to make chocolate chip Belgian waffles…now how good does that sound!

On another note, today was the first real COLD day we have had here in DC. I am not a fan of being cold unless it’s for a good reason like, playing in the snow or hiking on a beautiful trail. I would say skiing but I do not know how to…I know it’s tragic. Too bad Aerin Lauder is not a close personal friend of mine because I would invite myself every year to join her at her gorgeous home in Aspen and have her give me lessons…J/K. But seriously you’ll feel the same way after you’ve seen the below pics.

Simple earthy palate. Really like the wood ceilings and arched beams.
The library has a comforting feeling with all that wood present. Wish there was a window seat though.
I like that this is a gender neutral children’s room. The use of wood is simply…beautiful.

Fashion Features Director for British Vogue, Sarah Harris has great style. She is my kind of lady! I greatly appreciate a woman who knows what she is conformable in and with that comfort exudes confidence. It seems her uniform is composed of jeans, a good pointed pump, her LV notebook, LV purse, shirts half tucked-in, sneakers, dresses over jeans and fringe.
Fun fact this beauties grey hair is natural! So yes, if you are thinking of replicating it’s wonderful array of grey’s…no can do.

Marigay McKee is a successful woman that has recently (2013) transplanted from England to Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She worked 15 years at Harrods working her way up from beauty buyer to chief merchant and made the move to NYC to be Saks Fifth Avenue’s President. Since her arrival to the states, she has left her post with Saks and has opened her own firm, MM Luxe Consulting.
McKee’s NYC home is as marvelous as her career. It’s a 9,000 square-foot-townhouse built in 1884 by architects Douglas and John Jardine. It was decorated by Nicole Freezer Rubens.
